Mycobot-280-M5 – Desktop-Grade Precision 6-Axis Collaborative Robot
The Elephant Robotics Mycobot-280-M5 is a desktop-grade 6-axis collaborative robot weighing only 850g. It has an effective working radius of 280mm, maximum load of 250g, and repeat positioning accuracy of ±0.5mm. Equipped with a dual-ESP32 core controller (12V DC power), it supports drag teaching for easy trajectory recording and playback. Its base and end feature LEGO Technic interfaces, compatible with over ten end effectors (grippers, suction pumps, vision modules) and combinable with MYA GV chassis for composite robot setups.
Powered by an integrated control system, it enables extensive secondary development. It works with Windows/Linux/MacOS, offers open interfaces for Python/C++/C#/JavaScript (with full API library and sample code), and is deeply adapted to ROS1/ROS2 (supports Moveit path planning and Rviz simulation). It also provides Blockly graphical programming and UIFlow visual development. Communication is via USB Type-C; IO interfaces connect sensors/actuators, and it comes with an interactive CLI tool and low-code framework.
It suits university AI education, robot R&D, maker DIY, and lightweight automation, delivering a high-precision, flexible desktop solution for programming teaching, machine vision, and motion control research.
