In the application, plastic components are gripped by the Delta robot, specifically sucked up and placed in a fixture in which the individual components are joined. The challenge in this application was the precise processing of the camera data. The robot has a pick cycle time of 1-2 seconds. The components are jogged randomly.

In this video, we present an advanced solution for the automated assembly of ball bearings in production. The setup of the gantry system and the integration of the Epson Scara are shown, as well as the operation of the rotary conveyor and the Variobotic shaker cameras for precise detection and positioning of the ball bearing components. The Schunk and Schmalz grippers are demonstrated in action, handling the ball bearings safely and efficiently. The step feeder supports the process with its precise conveying technique, ensuring that the entire system operates smoothly and efficiently thanks to reliable power and data transmission. Example of a complete solution from Variobotic

In this application example from the "bin picking" sector, several work steps could be automated with an intelligent solution.

The supply hopper drops the components onto the "Varioshaker 270", which then separates them using vibration. The vision system then recognizes the individual parts and transmits this data to the Dobot. With the help of an EGP end effector, the Dobot picks up the components for further processing.

With the help of the various robot components, an intelligent solution was created.

The VarioFeed solution developed by Variobotic consists of the industrial robot DOBOT MG400, the flexible component separator VarioShaker 270 and two image processing systems.

In the application example, sensor housings are placed onto the component separator through a supply hopper, where the components are provided to the industrial robot in the correct shape and position. After visual recognition of the component by a camera, the DOBOT MG400 can pick up the parts. The housing is then inspected via the second camera.

This bundle combines flexible feeding and separation as well as quality control in one solution. The DOBOT robot convinces with a speed of 300°/s and a repeatability of +-0.05mm.
