Technical Information The Hinson FE50FA-01000A is a high-performance 2D LiDAR sensor designed for AGVs, AMRs, autonomous vehicles, and industrial automation applications. Featuring a 360° scanning field, a detection range of up to 50 m, and an industry-leading 0.025° angular resolution, it delivers highly detailed environmental perception for navigation and obstacle detection. The sensor operates at a 540 kHz measurement frequency and provides 1 mm measurement resolution, ±20 mm absolute accuracy, and ±10 mm repeatability for precise localization and mapping. Multi-echo technology improves performance in dusty or complex environments, while its IP65-rated housing ensures reliability in demanding industrial conditions.

Software, Interfaces, and Integration The FE50FA-01000A supports Ethernet (TCP/UDP) and CAN communication, enabling seamless integration with robot controllers, navigation software, SLAM platforms, and industrial control systems. Equipped with 4 NPN digital inputs and 4 NPN digital outputs, the sensor supports configurable safety functions and obstacle detection zones. Real-time raw measurement data, 64 communication-based channels, multiple configurable detection areas, and compatibility with leading mobile robot controllers simplify deployment and reduce engineering effort.
