Technical Information The Hinson DE-4511 is a compact 4-line Time-of-Flight (TOF) LiDAR sensor designed for precise obstacle detection, navigation, and environmental perception in industrial automation and robotics. Featuring a 120° detection angle with a 12° vertical field of view, it delivers accurate ranging from 0.05 m to 4 m and configurable angular resolutions of 0.1° or 0.2°. The sensor provides ±40 mm measurement accuracy, low measurement noise, and a 10 Hz × 4 scan frequency for dependable real-time performance. With 64 configurable detection channels, Class 1 eye-safe laser technology, and resistance to ambient light conditions up to 80,000 lux, it is well suited for demanding indoor environments
Software, Interfaces, and Integration The DE-4511 supports Ethernet communication via TCP/UDP, enabling direct access to raw measurement data for advanced navigation, SLAM, localization, and obstacle avoidance applications. Four integrated NPN outputs allow flexible safety and control logic implementation, while configurable detection zones and delay settings simplify system optimization. Its compact design, low power consumption, and compatibility with common robot controllers facilitate fast integration into AMRs, AGVs, robotic arms, and automation platforms.
