In the next section of the video, a specific application is presented: clamping a metal spring. Here, the igus rebel, a robust and flexible robot arm, is used. The igus rebel is known for its ability to handle a variety of tasks in challenging environments.
The igus rebel is equipped with a Schmalz Magnet Gripper. This state-of-the-art tool allows the robot arm to securely and precisely grip and position the metal spring. The Schmalz Magnet Gripper is renowned for its strong holding force and its ability to work accurately even at high speeds.
During testing, the metal spring is successfully picked up and precisely positioned by the igus rebel. This demonstrates the effectiveness of the combination of the igus rebel and the Schmalz Magnet Gripper for this specific application.
